The current proposal's scale is too aggressive for downtown Flemington and I have serious doubts that it will bring in additional traffic as I have seen first hand what happens to a town when it's not developed properly. Just google Sheboygan, WI and see what poor planning and over development did for that town. It's a ghost town now.

On our [in state & out of state] vacations when meeting new people we found mentioning The Union Hotel & the Lindbergh Trial bring positive acknowledgement. When we say the Union Hotel might be removed to make way for a parking garage, etc., it is met with shocked reaction that tearing down an Historic Site is beyond reproach.

There has to be a way to save the historic Union Hotel in a practical plan to upgrade Main Street Flemington. Analyze the American Hotel in Freehold.

In live in my hope town until 2year when then started to make it a city instead of a old courty......back in the 60 and the 70th every one knew everybody in Flemington that why I left in 2015 (it not my home town anymore

Save historic Flemington - I'm a Millennial who would much rather live and shop, and eat in Flemington as is than as it would be with the tall, congested 5-7 story buildings in the proposed plan.

I live on Clark Circle - less than one 1/4 mile away from Main st. And commute through Main St daily - I am totally opposed to what the current plan is.

People come to Flemington to see the union hotel not some new construction you can see in any town usa. Flemington lost a lot to a jail that should have been built miles away and now another icon. I remember driving around town looking for a parking spot and finally finding one. Now thanks to the planing boards there is no problem parking 10 tractor trailers on a weekend where used to be thousands of visitors. Like the one of a kind movie theater replaced by 1 of 5 drug stores in town. Flemington has lost everything that made it the atraction it used to be. And it's not progress by far it's greed for sure
