This tree has been apart of my childhood, and my son, my niece and nephews upbringing. Surely there’s a round about or road island the Christmas tree can be placed.

I cannot understand WHY anyone would remove a live healthy native tree. Stop wasting money on things that don't need doing. If you need to spend our rates, we need give way and Stop signs on every intersection.

Please save the beautiful native Tuckeroo tree in the Burdekin theatre foyer. It has been a major attraction in our Burdekin theatre forecourt for many years and should NOT be removed to install a temporary christmas tree

Please don’t kill that lovely tree. The Christmas tree looks great on the roundabout. Leave is as we are used to. Thanks.

Please just leave the trees alone and leave the Christmas tree where it always is.

What a stupid reason to move the tree to replace with a Xmas tree. Council need to reexamine their decision on this one as it’s plain stupidity.

Cutting down a real tree to put up a temporary fake tree is the definition of stupidity. Put the fake tree somewhere else....it can go anywhere

If it’s a native tree pretty sure they arnt allowed to chop it down. Pretty piss poor replacing it with Christmas fake tree for only a month every year. Not happy.
