Please reconsider this decision. As a parent with a daughter struggling in Lansingburgh school district. We need these reading teachers. To be honest if you can't read nothing else in life will come easy.

Removing the reading teachers from any school is a horrible idea. Reading is fundamental program as well as a building block for the rest of their lives.

To abolish this program as it exists would be catastrophic to the students who need it most...

Reading is the foundation for all skills. Our children need this more than anything else.

It's difficult to identify a more crucial foundation for a good education than knowing how to read. This seems like an investment that would not be considered optional.

Students need the expertise that Reading Teachers have. Their skills enable students to close reading gaps, increasing their learning, confidence, success, and understanding of written material. They are essential to the education process. Please don't hurt students by eliminating this essential job. Thank you

This is a bad situation and about to get worse Troy make your voice heard. Don’t eliminate the reading program your children will suffer in the long run!

We can't set our kids up for failure by sending them through life unequipped by one of the most basic human skills, LEARNING TO READ! This proposal is reckless indeed.
