Save the Troy City Schools Reading Department

Reading is everything !!!

It ain’t fare for the children they need them teachers they need them teachers to learn how to read and learn bigger words and prepare them for life we need our teachers

This is absolutely ridiculous!!! Research and data show that students that perform low in literacy and never bridge the gap continue to perform low the rest of their lives. Give these students a chance!!

We must stand up in every for our schools and children

Reading, writing and arithmetic is the basic education each child should have. A Special Reading Teacher, Mr Joseph O’Brien, changed my life in the 70s because I’m dyslexia and I need to find my way of learning.

Please reconsider keeping Reading teachers for the Troy School district. These teachers are needed for our children.

Pleas save the Readinf Dept for akk the children who need the extra halp.

If you can read you can do anything. Reading should be ours schools first priority.

Literacy is fundamental and extremely important. Please reconsider.

Reading is the singular most important and valuable skill taught in school, and is essential to the mastery of all other skills.

In a district with 71% of students reading below level this shouldn’t even be a discussion. The facts show students needs are not being met, especially in reading. Don’t react by cutting reading, find something else. How much are the administrators making? This is near literally sacrificing these kids future for a budget, or so some higher admins can keep a big salary.
