Save the tree house and the honor to Dr. Chen. Far greater things need to be addressed in our community than the private tree house on personal property.

I'll never forget Jack's smiling face and enthusiastic attitude, even after a long call at LAC. He set a great example for those of us residents who were junior to him. RIP, Jack.

I lost my husband two years ago and if we had something special to honor him and someone made us take it down it would crush us. Memories and honoring loved ones who have past is all we have. How could someone try to even take that away from that family?!

oh I hope the city doesn't force the treehouse taken away. How sad is it to have lose their father at such young age and if they lose his treehouse it will remind them of devastation they went through couple yrs ago. :(

We at St. Joseph Hospital loved Dr. Chen. He was extraordinarily kind and wonderful to patients and employees. Please give the family their tree house permit. The grief of his tragic death will be soothed by your compassionate response.

RIP Dr. Chen. Dr. Chen was a doctor who worked at the hospital I work at, he is truly missed. I can't imagine his wife and children being put through more agony by loosing this tree house. I support their wishes to keep the tree house in memory of Dr Chen. I pray that they are allowed to keep it, since it brings them comfort, peace and wonderful memories, to Dr Chen's children and wife.
