The current landlord/manageress should most definitely go. We received appalling and weirdly confrontational service there during summer and in december. Just read trip advisor and you can see what the problem is. she actually wrote lies in a response to our review and probably others. calling people names on twitter is again an example of the shameless unprofessional attitude. It's a Shame the pub is actually closing down as there it could be a decent pub/restaurant with the right management team.

The landlords do not have money over morals.. Nor is he disrespectful or ignorant! I think you'll find that the 'managers' lease had expired and they were aware of the expiry date for a year. If they are that great at 'managing' they can find somewhere else to rent and make a 'great business'

http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowUserReviews-g503773-d813153-r190952869-Tower_Arms-Brentwood_Essex_England.html# Yeah.. An amazing business for the 'managers' Also.. I'm pretty sure it's defamatory and against data protection to plaster people's phone numbers in front of the pub...

To see this pub go would be such a shame! It has developed so much over the years and holds a lot of memories. I was a pupil at St Peters school, worked at the tower for over a year and visited many times for drinks so personally I would be very sad to see it go! Save Tower Arms!! Summer won't be the same without it!!!!!!
