The city council officially approved the preservation status for the OVGH site this morning. We are moving directly into the oversight phase to ensure the demolition permits are formally revoked. Thank you for maintaining the pressure that forced this outcome.

We are approaching one hundred signatures which is the threshold required to trigger a formal response from the planning board. I have a draft letter prepared for submission once that number is locked in. Please ensure your networks are aware so we can deliver this document by the end of the week.

Would love to see this tower at Heritage Port. It is important to showcase our history while moving forward.

Born there back in 1989, my mom was a nurse there, my grandma was a nurse there. Spent many days in the hospital visiting my grandmas friends. I remember the little play area with a little house, down from the gift shop. We told my family we were having my daughter there in the waiting room of the icu.

The Ohio Valley needs to save this hospital. We have too many people here for just one. The quality care we receive has suffered since this hospital has shut down.

It is time to stand up for a Hospital where I gave birth to 4 children. My Mother gave birth to 4 children, 1 stillborn. The best of care always

Please save the tower! OVMC has so many special memories for me. I was born there , all of my children were born there and I worked there for many years and made the best friends ever. Met my firever sister there. ❤️❤️

OVGH played a very important part in Wheeling's history. It should be memorialized on it's site and there is no part of it's history that is more iconic that the tower with OVGH on it. As part of the alma mater of the OVGH School of Nursing says"OVGH stands forever as a beacon light". It has been a beacon of caring and hope to thousands in Wheeling & the surrounding area

Save the tower. OVMC became my family when I worked there and even more so when I was a patient. No hospital will be able to give the same care
