This is a wonderful day to day entertainment for many kids in the community. Not to mention a job for several of the young kids still in school. I myself and one of my brothers worked at the pool for 3 summers. It would be such a shame to see it close.

I realize the pool doesn't get as much business as it used to, but I believe that's due to poor management in the past. It will take time to rebuild business as I can personally attest to MANY days that the pool was closed on bright, sunny days just because a storm was predicted. People lost faith that it would be open and stopped coming. Give the current manager time to rebuild community trust and business. We need this pool for our youth.
