Save the Sun Centre, Nova Centre and North Wales Bowls Centre from closure

these are important venues for our community - stop taking things away from people!! life is hard enough can't see justification about saving and cutbacks, when council keep spending on relocation and closing relatively new building!!

Please save our local services, we use them all the time & it helps bring revenue in from holiday makers too.

what is an aquatic centre....the sun centre should be run for profit and by the council...poor management...lack of forward planning... The suncentre needs progressive thinkers as managers. The Nova a council run building run by Clwyd Leisure...more recently being a neighbour of this pool I haven't driven past to abergele as reports are it is a tolerable temperature and the reports where right. sick of being freezing and changing in changing rooms that stink.of urine...the Nova seems a lot improved although it's exterior is a crumbling embaressment. Come on councils do what's right. We all love a swim!!

Please don't desert the people of Rhyl & Prestatyn they're worth investing in.

Lift your finger DCC !

Yet again DCC short sightedness - take £50k from Clwyd Leisure and place up to 125 people on benefits! 125 people on council tax relief etc...not to mention the loss of all the direct and indirect incomes these places bring to the community. DCC- DON'T rebrand the bloody logo, DON'T waste hundreds of thousands on "consultations" - put OUR money where we want it, into the (few) local amenities you have left us!

The only tourist identity Rhyl has left, council won't be happy until its all DSS flats and hostels! :-( save our town!

please keep this fantastic place open my childhood many of my happy childhoof memories are at the sun ctr and hoping my own children can enjoy too...so sad to let it go

the suncentre is one of the only tourist attractions left in rhyl now and has formed the basis of many of my childhood memories with my family and friends. the nova is brilliant for teaching kids to swim, all my friends say how brilliant the staff are! also the gyms are fab! it would be an absolute disgrace for these places to shut not only due to the tourism they create for the area but also due to the locals who continually invest financially and emotionally in these great businesses.

Rhyl is on a slippery slope as it is, don't take away some of the few good things it has going for it.

My children have all learned to swim through the novas swimming lessons, the staff are fantastic! My youngest is on stage 3 at the moment, where will he go if they do shut in March? The nova is much needed by the residents of prestatyn! Couldn't we look after them instead of the tourists for a change!!!

dont let these attractions go, dcc have already made a big enough mess of this town!

I use the nova frequently for gym and swimming with the kids. It would be a shame for it to go.

To leave derelict like everything else and make more people jobless. I've travelled the world and whenever I meet someone fr the uk and say I'm from Rhyl, the first thing they mention is the sun centre. It's all we have left!

I First visited the centre in 1989 as a child when on holiday and went back all through the 90s,this attraction is what Makes Wales so memorable to any child. It will have an effect on tourism as I would go to Blackpool knowing I can take my kids for a swim on hol.
