My three children were lucky enough to enjoy the stone zoo at least weekly as children. They are grown now but still want to take trips to the zoo. I would feel so sad for future young children that were not able to use the stone zoo.

Please don't hold back our much needed funding. We've come so far since reopening with thousands of people visiting all year round. Please help us keep this national treasure.

As a child, my family would visit Stone Zoo from Somerville. As a Stoneham resident, I was able to bring my children here as well as nieces and nephews, It is an asset to our community and the Zoo has been a wonderful neighbor offering their continued support to the community as well. Please release the funds.

Our kids have taken great classes at the zoo, summer camps, and on Mother's Day, that was what they wanted to do - visit Stone Zoo. Please save it!

The Stone Zoo was a place I loved going to as a child, and I'd hate to see it go. I have a young nephew, and one day I would like to take him. So please dont destroy the Zoo.

Governor Baker and Secretary Ash,
Please approve the immediate release of at least $3 million of pre-authorized bond funding dedicated to construction and maintenance of the facilities at the Stone Zoo. The closure of Stone Zoo would be a tremendous detriment to Stoneham and its surrounding communities. Thank you!

I have lived in Melrose for the past 40 years. The Stone Zoo has been on of our favorite places to visit. First with my children and then with my grandchildren. Please keep it open for future generations.
