Please support the Stone Zoo. This is the only zoo easily accessible from the north shore of Massachusetts. There are so many wonderful zoos around the country and "world class" place like Massachusetts needs to step up. Massachusetts is a leader in education and zoos are important educational tools.

My mother brought me to the Stone Zoo as a young child. My wife and I brought our children to the Stone Zoo when they were young. One of my sons volunteers at the zoo and is enrolled in a pre-vet program for September. This would be a terrible loss for all communities north of Boston.

Stone Zoo is convenient to 93 and 95, and thus a convenient location for everyone who wants to visit. Parking is plentiful. Hiking paths, picnicking areas, and even boat rentals are accessible. It is a great place for a family outing. It must be funded.

Save the only piece of my childhood. Stoneham Zoo was my favorite spot as a child and now I enjoy taking my younger sister there to show her everything.
