The Zoo is part of our childhood. Field trips with schools, the YMCA and day trips with the family. It provides us with a place to take out children at a reasonable price and educate them.

I grew up in Stoneham and we would sometimes wake up to flamingos and other animals from the zoo in our backyard. We spent time at the zoo on a weekly basis and my childhood would not have been the same without it. I am sure that there are many others that feel the same way. Please do not close this wondering place.

i met my husband of 20 years while he worked for the zoo. My father also worked security for the zoo. I cannot imagine not having the Zoo in my life. The Stone Zoo means so much to so many. Please save our Zoo. Pam Hamilton

It's time to find funding for things like the zoos and the arts, the environment....those things that make Massachusetts great. When will you work to attract more business here.....or try to get the businesses that left during the Romney administration to return.

Our family has been going there every year as a tradition on Christmas Eve. We also go many times throughout the year. My wife has tons of photos from years of her family attending. Please do what you can to keep open.

Love the Stoneham Zoo. It is wonderful to have a Zoo in your own town and visit so easily. Great for the economy of Stoneham to have surrounding towns visit also.

I have always brought my children and grandchildren to the Stone Zoo. I would hate to not have it here for my great grandchildren. Please save this Zoo it is an important part of this community.
