As a resident of Melrose, MA, I implore you to release the funds that would allow the Stone Zoo to remain an integral part of this community. My family has supported the zoo since we moved to MA from GA two years ago and it is one of the things we adore most about living here. Add to that the economic impact a closure would have on all surrounding towns and it is clear this funding needs to be made available immediately.

Please keep this wonderful resource around for generations to enjoy! I remember my dad taking the neighborhood kids to this wonderful place in the 70s. My children, and now grandsons, enjoy this day's take in.

I have taken my children to the zoo since they were young. It is a big part of our community. Going there at Christmas is also a tradition we enjoy. Please help to keep the zoo an asset in Stoneham.

As a life long resident of the state of Massachusetts, the Stone Zoo holds very fond memories of both my own and my children's childhood. It is very rare that a member of the state has not visited the Stone Zoo. The Stone Zoo has been an intricate part of the Massachusetts community for over 100 years and to let a historical landmark such as this zoo slip through the fingers of the commonwealth would be a crime.
