Please save the zoo ...I grew up with my parents taking us kids there. I took my children there. And want to be able to take my grandkids there.

Many fond memories as a teenager working at the concession stand during high school 1959/1960. Brought my children and grandchildren. Keep the tradition going !

I have been a member of the zoo since moving to Stoneham 20 years ago. It was always a favorite for my children. My grandchildren love it too. Two of their favorites are the Yak and the coati.

Just this past spring, my mother gifted us with a pass to the Stone Zoo so that we could take our one-year-old daughter. Here is a picture of her at the zoo - she went wild when she saw and heard the flamingos. The Stone Zoo is a state-owned zoo, and deserves to have the funding it needs to help delight my daughter and generations of children to come. Please keep this wonderful institution alive.
