The goats are happy and well cared for. They are also a fun and harmless attraction! I hope they can stay; they’re a quirky little piece of Steep Rock!

What's wrong with people? Our earthly animals are important, and how we treat them speaks volumes. I support the enjoyment of goats and their presence on Goat Island. People, stop being so selfish!

It’s an attraction that’s brought many people to the Steeprock area, no harm is being done to the goats and they are well cared for. Visiting the island we found the Goats thrive in their Island Vacation Spot and people love the opportunity to head out to see them and interact with them. Whoever chose to complain about this is quite simply childish and needs to find something in their life that makes them feel valued.

It seems people need more to worry about in life if these goats are their biggest problem. Keep the goats on the island!

These goats are not hurting anything. The people complaining are probably the ones that got there after the goats. I'm sure they can find other cottages they can disrupt and leave Goat Island alone... Better yet the ones complaining should throw away their binoculars and build a wall...

I believe they are a nice additional attraction to steeprock. We love to try and see them and show our grandkids. I have not heard what the complaints are.

The goats are part of Steep Rock tradition! Let them stay. If there are actual legitimate concerns then allow Peter to address them, but seizing them is unfair and unnecessary and will damage tourism in the area.
