They are one reason tourists come to the area, just to paddle out to the island to see the goats and give them a treat.

why when there is something good for Steep Rock,is there folks thinking they have to change things,was going here for 10 years and stopped as of this year,one one of the main reasons for not going anymore ,was just this ,when it is good for the town,,,leave it alone!!

It is interesting that the ACTUAL GRIEVANCE has yet to be revealed. Locals who complained? They don't like progress and they obviously don't understand they live in a tourist area. Thanks to Peter for continuing to do a wonderful job in spite of others. SAVE THE GOATS!

I booked four nights at steep rock to see the goats in early August! My family and I, especially my daughter has been looking forward to this trip for a six months. Save them!
