Seems like a case of some people wanting to, "cut off their nose to spite their face"!! Seriously those goats are doing so many great things, bringing in tourists, keep brush and weeds under control!!! Keep the goats!!!!

Displacing/re-homing is one thing but selling them for meat?!? I sincerely hope that's just a way to draw more attention to the petition. Those friendly little goats are already on an uninhabited island... how much more out of the way can they be? I've visited them for years but won't return once they're gone. This 'hidden gem' of a community can go hide in shame if the locals think this is ok. What next? Butcher the unwanted tourists?
