The goats are excellent. Great tourism attraction for the area, and the only reason I have gone to Steep Rock. Was an amazing time feeding the goats.

Why are people worrying about two goats

The health and safety of these beloved animals should be the #1 priority and they seem just fine in their current surroundings, the ignorance and self-righteousness of those who complained should be ashamed.

Really people??!! Those who complained should learn to not sweat the small stuff. There are worse tragedies!! Get a life and let the goats continue with theirs. I love the giants there and there should be more!!!!

It’s only 2-3 months a year. ... and a wonderful adventure for tourists.

Pure pettiness. Keep the goats. They're doing a community service keeping the weeds down.

I can't imagine these two goats are doing any real harm and in fact I'm sure they are beneficial to the natural environment out on the island. No herbicides/no pesticides.....just goats.

What harm are they doing. Ridiculous already.

So sad to learn that a few miserable people are ruining a wonderful and unique experience. These goats should not wind up on a dinner table.

This is sad news that these two goats are being evicted. I truly hope Hopper and Gonzo can stay on Steep Rock!

Anything that gets people out kayaking and canoeing, is a boon to the local and en route communities should be supported by all level of government. The Provincial government agency and the complaining community members should be ashamed of their destructive action.
