Only reason I went to Steep Rock in the first place. They aren't hurting anyone, let it be.

I was just up in Steep Rock and it’s a beautiful place. Let the two goats live out their days there - at this point, it’s their home!

The government must be fair in this situation, allow the owner some time to ensure proper permits can be in place! So quick to jump the gun, put this much energy into some of the serious problems Manitoba faces, and leave the goats alone!

There are many positives and zero negatives to having the goats on the island. I thought our PC government encouraged innovation.

Really, nothing better to complain about? I hope whoever submitted this complaint feels like a real jackass. I suspect some bad karma will be coming your way.

As a First Nation person of this land, I see no wrong here. He isn’t harming anyone, the animals are not harming anyone, the only ones hurt by it are the ones that are not benefitting from it. Which is the locals of Steep Rock. They never asked to be on First Peoples land, so why give this one man a hard time. He has accommodated people from all over, especially First People, because we are his main supporters. If anything they should be asking the grass roots people on what we think about his business, and how he is using the land. We see no wrong doings here. He is making a way for himself, for his family, just like everyone else’s here. He shouldn’t be persecuted on bringing a positive outlook to this area.
As a Pinaymootang FN member, I here by stand with Peter and his business.

Hey, Province of MB, you've sure got my goat. Instead of getting your horns out over this, cud you not grant an extension to the end of the tourist season so ewe can review and code the land and then allow the permits to be applied for? I'm not kidding when I say that this could be win-win-win.
Let the goats use the island!!
