This is just another thread in our sacred flag that has been broken. As you all know it started in S.C. and it has not stopped since. I would like ask if this was happening to WWI orWWII or Vietnam parks or statues would the outcry be the same ? Civil war veterans on both sides were US veterans just like those of other wars. I guess most of the people in this country has forgotten that

This is a perfect example of the liberal government using "political correctness" to erase history. The Confederate generals are now deemed "racist", despite not owning slaves, but William Sherman and Ulysses S. Grant both owned slaves. This "political correctness" needs to stop, and we need to stop erasing history and stop brainwashing the kids of our future generation.

The hate groups in this country are out to obliterate everything Confederate, and certainly fail to understand that the large majority of soldiers, South and North, were not fighting due to the issue of slavery.

Nothing but cowards and hate groups that would try and destroy our heritage.
