Deciding not to solicit input from those involved with the Law School is a COWARD move. Make a name for yourself by alienating your students and alumni/alumnae? Try supporting them instead.

The quad was always such a special place while I was in law school. Every incoming SMU law student deserves to have that special place.

Moving the law school is a mistake that the SMU Dedman School of Law may never be able to recover from.

Best memories ever there. So many great people have walked through there to tear it down.

The quad made my SMU experience. I and your other alumni will have no connection to this new campus and future students will be robbed of the amazing experience the quad gave me. I hope you will reconsider and instead improve upon the existing facilities that your current and former students so cherish.

The law quad is central to the Dedman experience. Please refurbish and improve the existing facilities rather than tearing down the tradition and depriving future students of the same amazing experience that I enjoyed during my time at the school. Class of 2014.
