This gorgeous garden is a refreshing and beautiful spot in the midst of a metropolitan landscape. Surely there must be another way to implement the master plan (or modify it) so that this legacy will continue to delight visitors for years to come.

I walk through this garden twice every day during my work commute. Both tourists and locals love it - in a city with very few public formal gardens, it is truly a gem. Preserve it!

It would be absolutely tragic to lose the Haupt Garden, the entrance pavilions, and the Renwick Gates and Walls. I used to be as Smithsonian staff member, and these treasures were part of my friend Dr. Ripley's dream. They are important and should be saved and maintained well.
