Stop trying to fix what isn't broken!!! The Gault Garden is lovely, and the current entrances to the museums are fine. Spend money where you have real problems!

I lived in DC area when the garden was finished and had many great memories on walking the garden with my children and friends visiting, as well as a very peaceful lunch sitting and enjoying the view.

Many times have I wandered through the Enid Haupt gardens learning the names of our native plants, admiring their beauty, relaxing amid the city bustle, and gathering calm before returning to work from my lunch hour. On weekends I have returned to enjoy the changing seasons as spring flowering plants burst forth, then give way to summer and fall beatitude of different textures and forms. The kind of beauty is an integral part of Washington. Please do not destroy it.
