Save the Smithsonian's Enid Haupt Garden!

Please keep the garden. It serves as a beautiful oasis where visitors and employees can rest and take in it's natural beauty.

We've been visiting the Garden since it opened. It would be so destructive to replace this beautiful space with anything else .

I feel closest to God, in a garden.

My lunch time oasis....please do not destroy.

What a beautiful, relaxing, and quiet place to have lunch or sit and reflect. Over the years I have noticed many, many visitors enjoying the Haupt Garden. It should remain as it is.

It would be a true loss to the beauty and balance of that area of DC. The garden provides a place of respite and sculptural beauty!!

Why replace something special with something banal?

Please do not destroy this beautiful garden or its surrounding features. Surely there are better options than this radical transformation of one of the Mall's most beautiful areas.

Why would anyone want to destroy one of the most beautiful and peaceful spots in Washington? Loss the Enid Haupt garden would be a tragedy.

Please do not remove this historic garden. It is a wonderful break in a part of town that has a lot of concrete!

This is part of my youth growing up in WDC--don't ruin it.

I walk through this garden twice a week and enjoy its beauty every time

We need this island of beauty and serenity to balance out the stresses of everyday life in our world today. Don't take it away!!!!!!!

This garden was designed by Lester Collins and others deserves to be preserved. It provides context for the buildings it surrounds and is unique in its type in Washington DC

This is my peaceful refuge in a noisy world. Please preserve it.
