I cannot see how a company from another country can come here and create shopping malls and destroy historic places that they would not do in their homeland.

This garden is one of the treasures of the Smithsonian. Walk though on any day and you'll see how many people are enjoying this special site. It would be a great mistake to bulldoze this over and build on top of it. Please save the Enid Haupt Garden!!!

We need green space for enjoying the sunshine, peace and quiet. This garden is a resting place for workers who need relief from the stresses of work in nearby buildings. Leave the garden alone, please.

I always visit this garden when I visit! It is always very busy. The Mall would be a much less elegant without the garden.

The Enid Haupt Garden is a cultural treasure. To destroy it would be a tragedy. It is a peaceful respite in the city. The Saucer Magnolias and weeping cherry are gifts to those who live in, work in, and visit the city. Please do not even think of destroying it.
