This venue space is a cultural necessity in downtown Los Angeles, and a very important contribution towards positive youth development, towards violence prevention, by offering assets to youth, to channel their energy into arts and music, in a drug-free, alcohol-free space.

Don't close the smell!! Sacred to LA history and music in general. This is a home for adolescents and tearing it down would be like taking music away from us.

The Smell saved my life! I don't know where to begin. It has been apart of me in many stages of my life. First when I was a teenager and I was discovering music that I like then as a performer and contributor to the creativity. The smell has touch the lifes is so many people. It gave me community along with so many others. We owe it to our youth to continue the legacy of the smell. Please don't take it away. It would be a disservice to the artists community and the youth of Los Angeles and beyond.
