The Smell is an integral part of the LA community. It is a place that is loved and enjoyed by people of all ages and gives them a place to experience a multitude of different creative events, for it to be demolished would not be in the best interests of the people of Los Angeles.

It's a shame to see a piece of Los Angeles culture, still alive and thriving, giving the kids a place to go other than the streets, get torn down. Preserve Dtla Los Angeles culture, don't bring down the future of the la music scene to ruble.

this place respresents so much for the diy art and music community and serves as one of the only spaces in LA where youth of all ages can come together in a positive/productive environment. WE NEED THE SMELL!

This venue is vitally important to the downtown LA music scene and local community! The entire community should have had a say in this dire plan before they came to such conclusions,
disregarding the community's interests and needs. The people need their space too and this spot is special for too many reasons. We deserve the right to have an impact on the matter that not only involves those corporate dictators, but the actual community whom it fosters. Please, stop letting rich folk gobble all of our land up and degrading important resources into soulless beauji buildings. Shame on whoever favors tearing this gem apart. Let it stand in peace.

The Smell has powerful cultural importance. It is one of the reasons downtown became 'hip'. It helps keep minors save by giving them a place to experience & perform multiple styles of music without alcohol. Please do not destroy this place of wonder. There are other spots for you to make a parking lot. Thank you.
