the smell is a really good place for local bands and artists to show what their good music talent is and how great their music can be we need this venue because without it people will be let down

I've had a goal to play at this venue with my band as I'm sure so do many others. I know of bands, whom I revere greatly, whose roots come from playing gigs at The Smell that are now thriving famously... and I only wish to share the stage where so many other bands have spat out the passion for this thing we call music. I don't wish for this beloved venue to become simply legendary. The Smell isn't over.

The Smell has been a safe haven for youth for years now, keeping kids off the street and out of danger and fostering creative output through music. The Smell deserves to remain standing.

The Smell is a Los Angeles cultural treasure! There are so few genuinely independent, all-ages music venues left in this city, so we need to be protecting the ones we still have.

The world needs spaces open to people of all ages and backgrounds to experiment musically and find their voice. The smell is one such place. Don't be a capitalist piece of garbage by destroying this invaluable home for musicians.

Don't take away the smell, the one place of history in LA for all ages where a lot of kids dream of playing and many bands have played, sad man.
I love the smell
let's not let this atrocity happen!!
