The Smell is an integral part of the L.A. music scene, a place where many bands played their first shows, and grew a fan base, where kids could go and hang out and be apart of a creative and supportive community. LA would not be the same without the Smell, it would be a real shame to demolish it.

I'm a musician from Cleveland, OH and though I've never been to The Smell, I completely understand why it needs to stay. Tearing down this venue would mean tearing down a creative community and that's unacceptable.
