The smell is a wonderful place for youth to express themselves, make new friends, and dance. As an attendant, I would hate to see it gone.

The Smell has helped many great bands from all around break into exposure and has housed so many amazing shows! Musicians and music lovers alike from all over the globe have either experienced its magic or left their mark. The fact that this dope venue is straight edge makes it THAT much more amazing!! Time has definitely not come to an end for the Smell! It definitely shouldn't! There's SO much more awesomeness to be had at this venue, and everyone knows it!!

This venue means a great deal to me, as it was a very integral part of my formative early teen wars. The smell was where I first started to go to shows as a teenager and began to explore the colorful and rich music scene in Los Angeles, and it's where I made some of my closest friends. It introduced an entirely new world to me and allowed me to explore my identity and learn new things about others. This venue means a great deal to me and many others, and although I know the smell will always live on, it would be a terrible tragedy if the building were to be demolished. Please please please I am begging you do not let this building be demolished!!!!!!

I can honestly say the Smell changed my life. Having a place to go every weekend since I was about 12 where I could see amazing local bands...it was a safe haven, for me and I know, for many others. Save the music, save the love, save The Smell.
