I consider the smell as my second home, my friends and I would always go and we would never come home without fun stories of the shows we went to.m

While I have not been to the smell personally, friends of mine have and returned with nothing, but amazing stories and raving reviews. Clem Creevy of Cherry Glazerr sings of the renowned venue in their hit Bloody Bandaid. Don't kill the music scene and sign the petition so all can continue to enjoy the rad sounds that blast front his venue and I, and other music lovers who have not had the opportunity to visit, may be able to see my favorite bands play as well as artists I have yet to discover.

I've never had the opportunity to go to The Smell. It is in my list of venues to check out and the last thing that should keep me from going is a demolition. It's a safe environment where people can listen to music and enjoy themselves. Why take that away?

You have a chance to actually listen to what the people want, so take it.

This is a legendary part of Downtown Los Angeles culture. Destroying this place will leave a huge hole in the heart of the local music scene.
