The users of Smack Jeeves have spoken... We ask for a forum to use on the platform. NHN Global is trying to silence users by removing the forums with no replacement. Since they have not once interacted with us in any way, they haven't realized that we are a community that has stuck together for many years and require a place where not only our voices can be heard but also we can come together as a community of content creators and webcomic enthusiasts.
Many of us have been with Smack Jeeves for ten years or more and NHN Global is trying to destroy that home. We request that NHN Global immediately rescind their announcement to archive the forums and instead keep the current forum until a new one that fits in with the new site can be created.

The silence from the other side remains deafening despite the years of community history we have built here. I am exhausted by the lack of transparency, but I am still drafting formal messages to get someone in management to acknowledge that we deserve a place to stay.

The momentum behind this request is heavy and it proves that they cannot just sweep a decade of community history away. I am exhausted by the silence from their end but seeing this many people hold the line keeps me moving forward.

fix the site! why take away the one place artists can actually chitchat and promote their stuff? feels like they dont even care about the creators.
i grew up on these forums. total bummer that they wanna scrap it like it means nothing. so many memories and friends i made here over the last 8 years. dont kill the community!!!

this is super heart wrenching to see. i love smackjeeves as it was the most customizeable, yet simple for everybody. i spent weeks designing my comic layout to look how it is and now thats all down the tubes. :cry: now it feels like SJ has no soul and all these new coins/ tickets are one step away from forced subscriptions to even post on here. :evil: thankfully i am on other sites that still give my comic high traffic flow, but this was my favorite till now. who ever thought this was a good change needs to be fired ASAP.
