It is a part of history .History is forever the truth. It can't be changed. But we still have the future to preserve the past. God bless the USA.

Defend and protect the memorial of our honrable ancestors and citizens who selflessly fought to defend home and state against deadly, destructive invaders

Stop removing veterans’ memorisls! It’s vile and disgusting not to mention they represent all who fought in that war. Many were conscripted and died, never returning home and their whereabouts unknown to family members. The memorials honor their service and sacrifice to their county and state. The majority of citizens want these veterans’ memorials to stay and know the splc and naacp are political groups that need to rile up their votes and donations to exist hence the lies about these memorials. Don’t cowardly capitulate to their evil nonsense. Please take a stand by pushing back and leaving the memorial in place. These veterans of TN deserve no less.

All history is very important. Our future depends on remembering the past both good and bad so we can become a better nation and never repeat the bad but keep doing the good!

Please don't let this statue be removed. It has been in Henry County way before I was born.

Memorials for ordinary soldiers should not be in the same category as politicians and officers. Period.

I believe preservation of our history - especially local history - is paramount to saving our future. Our nation can be restored one community at a time.

Tearing down statues does not fix problems. Divides people more, actually.
