please do not take this down. It's history, it was put there to remember all of the soldiers that ultimately died for our freedom.

I have family who live in Paris Tennessee. I have visited there since I was a child. So I have just as much right,if not more, than the airhead who now resides in L.A that wants to remove this statue. Leave it alone and stop trying to erase history. Only ignorant, uneducated people believe that the Civil War was fought over slavery.

I was so proud of my hometown for not bending to the destructive stupidity of tearing down the monuments. My beautiful Southland is being raped and pillaged all over again with this insanity. Stand strong and don't bend. Leave the statue alone!!

Leave the statue alone, what good is it going to be if it is taken down. Probably was only one person who complained about it then every citizen has to suffer the loss because of a complaint.

I am tired of this "Cancel Culture"!!!! If one doesn't learn from history. One is bound to repeat it. This country is at the brink of Civil War as it is.

Keeping it is the right thing to do. It’s how we learn to not repeat the past and celebrated progress. Tearing it down is “ repeating” the past as if it didn’t matter at all.
