Please do not remove this monument to our ancestors. It was put there to remember those who may have not ever come home. It is a place to remember the sacrifices of the Southern people.

Cultural genocide of "select" Americans is not ever going to be acceptable in a free nation. Anyone even suggesting the eradication of cultural artworks should always be ignored and shut down immediately. Communism has never worked well and never will but what our founding fathers created will always be worth fighting for and hanging onto. Leave it alone and anyone who wants to complain needs to be ignored. Remove the Marxist communist, not our cultural works of art to our heroes of the past that we owe so much to. Respect the ones who gave us everything or find a new nation.

Leave our history alone. Confederate monuments are basically gravestones for 100,000 plus soldiers that their bodies were lost and their whereabouts unknown to their families. Have a little respect.
