Why didn't they relocate the deer before erecting the fence?

Culling is not the humane thing to do, it is death, what is humane about death when the animals can be freed from the fencing, man made this problem and should fix it without doing further harm.

their home has been stolen. at the very least they should be moved elsewhere. ideally take the fences away.

I have read about this story in the Whitehaven news and I agree with the opinion that the fence should be taken down for a period of time to atleast allow the deer the chance to be free. I am local 4 miles from sella field and all the money the they earn surely they can hold back to give deer chance to move, given the thought that they are the ones that enclosed then in the first place!

Why were they so incompetent as to trap these deer when erecting fencing?! And why should the deer pay witheir lives because of Sellafield's incompetence?! it's completely wrong!

Why all this culling of animals. Best thing to do is collect them and transport them down to Ashridge Park, near Dunstable Downs. Loads of places to roam. They are beauciful animals

Please let the deer go free - their lives should not be ended. That would be totally unacceptable. Please show responsibility and compassion.

These animals can be saved. It seems Sellafield is taking the cheapest and most unsuitable option. They caused the deer to be trapped so they should rehome them.
