The deer has the right to their lives. surely the deer could easily be relocated, and the huge figure for culling is monstrous, it is time all culling stopped, including humans in wars. Anyway, the RSPCA surely could intervene.

I think this is absolutely disgusting and just an excuse by Sellafield for a quick fix to a problem. There must be another way than to Murder these poor animals through no fault of their own..Shame on Sellafield..

Sellafield just wants a 'quick fix' solution, rather than a humane one, not that it will be quick-fix anyway. If the deer are going to hide in dense thickets, what makes Sellafield think the deer are going to come out of hiding so they can be shot? Would it not be just as easy to shoot them with tranquiliser darts and remove them from the site, as Sellafield would have to dispose of the bodies anyway if they were shot? Come on people - compassion costs nothing but gives everything!

Culling.... really!?! I know what I would like to say.. however.. I'll says this... if culling is your grand divine scheme... Karma comes around.. you have been warned. The thing we should be getting rid of is nuclear power plants in Britain. Wake up world. You should be saving these animal.. no question!

Do NOT kill these beautiful animals. Please please try to use tranquilliser darts and move the deer somewhere else. They shouldn't be killed just because they are in the wrong place.

Please don't shoot them with bullets. Use tranquilizers instead and get them out. It's not their fault their trapped. It's the fencers that need firing (not bullets).

They belong to no-one and so cannot be the subject of so called 'experts' opinion. Common sense says remove one of the fences temporarily in order to liberate them.

Surely in this day and age we can do better at resolving this issue than killing these deer on mass. Please do everything, absolutley everything to humanly save these deer.

Do not kill these animals. There are other options which should be taken. To slaughter these innocent animals would be an atrocity.

Always the gun as an answer to everything. The DPI has as it's partners BASC and NFU and Countryside Alliance, all blood sport enthusiasts and this is who Sellafield take their advice fromj!!
