I would not want my child to travel on public bus or have to change buses. I don't think children should be forced into this; going to school can be stressful enough for some they need to feel safe and to know they are going straight to school where it is safe. Putting school kids through this rigmoral will simply put them off public transport. Parents won't risk their children's safety or mental well being and drive them; creating more stress, traffic and pollution.

this proposal for cutting school buses will put children at risk, particularly younger children and parents will be worried if their children have got on the correct bus and also unfortunately as it can be these days, will make children vunerable to people who may not have good intentions i.e. ""predators"" very bad idea all round.

Keep the school bus system and keep kids safe! I have already seen an increase in traffic congestion since the introduction of paid fares on all school buses. Remove the school bus system and parents will drive their kids to school to keep them safe. MADNESS. Perhaps politicians could stop eating smashed avocados on toast for their lunches and donate the saved money to fund the school bus system!!!!!
