We visited this place in 2013 and I got many life birds… If the tree is cut down, I'm sure some of the birds will not have a place to live. Please save it

This tree is too much a landmark and too important a habitat to be cut down. Trim if necessary and fence it off if you're concerned with potentially falling branches.

This tree must be preserved and protected! BLM can easily protect visitor safety by simply fencing off the perimeter...not by destoying this magnificent tree.

Fence this tree and leave it alone -- it's a landmark not unlike the house. It seems like the BLM could easily ask for private funding sources to get involved if finances are an issue.
