please keep the children's campus open. All three of my children spent their early years there. It left them with a permanent love of learning and prepared them very well for elementary school and beyond.

This is an essential resource to people. It is now, it has been in the past, and will be in the future; closing it would be immoral without question, especially in the current situation we all find ourselves in. Things are hard enough for the people who utilize and need this resource, all of the time, you do not need to make it harder on them. Please

Don’t close this place! This is where many of us learned how to be better educators, be able to leave our child in the arms of a loving caring, nurturing professionals. Don’t let covid affect this.

There must be a win-win solution to this. For the benefit of the community and for the students and faculty please reconsider and keep the RVCC Children's Campus open, let’s find the solution together!

My son attended the Children’s Campus from ages 1 to 5 and loved being there. I am a single mother and the Children’s Campus allowed me to attend classes at RVCC to obtain my paralegal certificate. I was hired full time at a law firm and my son continued at the Children’s Campus while I worked full time. Without the Children’s Campus I would not have been able to lay the foundation to support myself and my son. I am truly saddened by this news. Please keep the Children’s Campus open!

It's shocking that the Children's Campus is being considered "remote from the college's mission"; when our kids went there, we were each working our way through nursing school and the benefits of affordable, convenient childcare combined with early education absolutely helped both of us as well as our kids, and the experience it gave the students working at the Campus surely helped their careers as well. If that's inconsistent with RVCC's mission, maybe you need to reevaluate your mission.

Instead of closing the childcare center think of how you can support female students. Let them succeed by lowering the burden and the cost of childcare.

This is an amazing commodity to the school and it's the difference between going here, and somewhere else, for many of us.

The center was for lack of a better term, a godsend for early education and childcare needs. For the cost it is superior in my opinion as it doesn't just have the children in front of screens, it has them learning and being inquisitive. As a father of a former child who "graduated" from the program and an Occupational Therapy Practitioner, this program sets children up for success not just academically, but also socially and psychologically. Please do not do an injustice by shutting the center down.

My daughter attended from 6 months through Pre K. She loved the childcare center and learned so much from the teachers and students. We loved the staff and our daughter thrived. There is nowhere else I would have wanted my daughter to be. Please reconsider shutting this down as it would be detrimental to the students, both current and future.
