Save the RVCC Children's Campus!

I have heard great things about this school. Please don't let the children down

This is part of community" in our name and in our identity to the larger population we serve.

Please reconsider! This is an essential asset for RVCC, its faculty, staff, students, and community at large.

The children's campus was a lifesaver to me when I was a nursing mother back in 2012 and 2013

Best child care and learning center. Please keep it open.

This is a necessary program for the parents at RVCC.

This is such an important part of RVCC and helps to allow many single parents to go to school and better themselves

It’s important to continue the community resources so many rely on.

This is a resource for students, staff and faculty. Removing it is a step backwards.

This is a critical asset for the College--its faculty, staff, students, and community-at-large.

Peace of mind is key when you are studying and this is what these parents/students need to succeed in school and offer their children a better life. Please, do not close the Children's campus!

We strongly urge you to reconsider the decision to close the Children’s Campus. Such a move would devastate our community.

Please preserve this program. Developmentally appropriate preschool is an investment in our future. RVCC leadership please remember the college mission is to serve the community.

Instead of arbitrarily close the facility you need to work on positioning the center in a way that will be more profitable and bring the recognition and attention to the staff. This is a solid organization and if you shut it down it will not only be damaging to the students and staff, but the college as well.

It serves as an establishment so young adults can further their education as well as an establishment for the workers at RVCC who want to educate these young adults. We need this decision reversed!

We cannot let the RVCC Children’s Campus become yet another casualty of this pandemic. It must remain open.

For the benefit of the community and for the students/staff/faculty please reconsider. Let’s find a win-win solution together to keep the RVCC Children's Campus open!

After reading so many emotional comments, it's clear to me that the Children's Campus helps a lot of students, faculty, administrators, staff, and community members. I would hate to see this gem of a facility be closed.

I think if more campuses did this we’d see more people willing to go into programs, especially healthcare professions since they take up so much time and are so demanding for their students.

I do not have children, but I can appreciate how difficult it must be for parents who need to study and attend virtual classes to not have someone they can trust to care for their children. As per the many comments, this day care has helped students succeed while their children were cared for appropriately and taught according to their age. Peace of mind is key when you are studying and this is what these parents/students need to succeed in school and offer their children a better life. Please, do not close the day care!
