Please save the charm in Seattle by not taking every last old building down. I have seen cities lose their charm and am seeing Seattle go down that path too, quickly I may add. It breaks my heart to see land use proposals up at beautiful historic and preservable buildings, this has to slow down or stop before we lose all the charm here too.

I have lived on Capitol Hill for 18 years. I have loved and admired the architecture and how well kept this building is. I appreciate how this Buildibg brings life to our neighborhood. Please don’t let it go!!

I've resided and manage a similar vintage property on Capitol Hill and this is beyond troubling. THANK GOODNESS my owners are committed to maintaining and preserving such a legacy and heritage. I am NOT against growth, increased density and change. Might we go about this with some modicum of mindful intent?

City government has let us all down not requiring minimum square footage restrictions leading to speculative real estate projects such as this so a developer can get rich off of putting human beings in mouse cages.

Our city is being gentrified enough and to destroy history and amazing architecture for the purpose of having a higher profit is ridiculous. Shame on the developers and building owner(s). Seattle isn’t Seattle anymore.
