Save The Roy Vue

I've lived on the hill for almost 15 years and this has always been one of my favorite building.

Please preserve this wonderful building , it would disrupt the community and the loyal tenants that live here if it were taken away

I hate what's happening to new Seattle and this is proof of why... Please save this beautiful old building!

Historic housing is what makes cap hill the beautiful place to live it is.

I am VERY against the destruction & development of the Royvue apartment. This building needs to be saved as a historic landmark. I lived at the Royvue for 2 years and my time there was cherished. This building is truly irreplaceable.

Please preserve the Roy Vue!

My wife and I could not longer afford to live in Downtown Seattle after my daughter was born last year and have been living in Renton since November, making my commute more difficult, but the price and space are significantly bigger. Seattle will never be able to accommodate the hundreds of thousands who are moving here each year, and destroying the places that make Seattle the place it is is very easy if you aren't thinking clearly. What the heck difference in the long run will fitting an slightly bigger number of people into this footprint actually mean if it takes away our sense of community and architectural history? Please preserve this historic building, and the character it gives to the community.

This is a beautiful place!

Seattle does need more quality housing options, but micro units are not a sustainable solution for managing the city's growing population. Investors benefit at the expense of the community. Please do what you can to help save Roy Vue.

It would be an egregious error to remove or alter this historic building and courtyard.

Don’t make Seattle harder to live in.

Giving in to the microapartment trend might be profitable and all the rage, but doing so would breed resentment, destroy a local landmark, and continue to send our community on its path to capitalist-fueled ruin. Have the guts to do something different. Keep the Roy Vue as is. Your residents, neighbors, and the Northwest community at large will thank you.

We've already seen several historical buildings torn down for new apartment complexes. But to tear down affordable housing for new, expensive apartments? That feels wrong.

Stick to the roots!

Some parts of the city need to remain the same and restored. There is not a need to tear down a beautiful building.

Please save this historic building! It’s important to the culture of Seattle

I live down the street and passing this building brings joy to the neighborhood!

Please save architectural landmarks like this for current and future generations! Don't give into greed

Affordable housing is needed! Stop the destruction of Seattle brick and mortar past! I make us unique .

Please don’t do this!! Seattle is gorgeous and her buildings architecture is what makes her so gorgeous! These micro houses are gross and not unique. Please leave Seattle alone!!
