This city needs to be take preserving the history of this city more seriously. It’s a disgrace how much has already been lost to cheap, tasteless building with no architectural integrity. The Roy Vue and so many of the beautiful historic buildings in this city, are so well built and a part of this city’s history. Preservation need to come come before developer’s greed disguised as an affordable housing option, when it’s not.

Why would you destroy historic beauty for tiny appartments? Very sad that greed is in the hearts of so many

I live across the street and just 1 block north. The proposed changes would devistating to our neighborhood! It would create a transient renter who wouldn’t invest in the kind of neighborly relationships which make our community great!

Seattle’s historic buildings need to stay how they are! I hope Robbie Turner gets to stay in this beautiful building just the way it is.

There is overcrowding in Seattle, that is the problem. Destroying one of the last remaining remnants of history in the city to further exascerbate the problem is not the solution. Hold something sacred and have some pride in what history remains in the US. Don't use capitalism and greed to guide this decision.

Let us not lose the Seattle we have known and loved. What is a space with out its unique history. Cities are meant to be dense, and grow taller, but it doesn't need to mean obliteration of history and personality. Please preserve the Vue. ❤️
