This is a gorgeous and historic building worth protecting especially from developers looking to create more unaffordable and monotonous housing in Capitol Hill. Please save the Roy Vue!

Don't destroy this beautiful building. Just keeping the facade of the building isn't enough...the garden is beautiful and should be there for the residents to enjoy.

I like in the UK but I have had the pleasure of visiting this incredible city and seeing this. It’s so beautiful and would break my heart to see it torn down and made to look like every other building. People like me visit the USA to see things like this, if you tear it down and build something common it would lessen the desire to visit as we can literally find the exact same apartment complex down the street. Please don’t do this.

We need to save what remains of Seattle’s history and not let Freddy developers destroy everything.

This building is pure magic upon entering the beautiful courtyard gardens framing a view of the Space Needle. Beyond its beauty, the light filled apartments are inhabited by those who feed the remaining creative culture on Capitol Hill and are fed by the space they live in. Converting to Micro Units is oppressing. Like caging animals and charging the same amount of rent for a fifth of the current unit space! This is no solution for affordable housing. The Roy Vue is one of the last remaining buildings that capture the original essence and aesthetic of Seattle. We can't let these few remaining gems dissapear.

I lived in this beautiful building in the 80's. It was an amazing building for my first apartment in Seattle
Let's stop destroying every good thing.
