I lived next to The Roy Vue in the BelRoy Apts. for 13 years. I loved my home, my neighbors and my neighborhood. Mostly because of the diversity. It was heartbreaking when we all were forced to move out while the building owners renovated. Sadly the price doubled for my unit and I could not afford to move back in once apartments were available again. The Roy Vue is a beautiful, historic building, many of which are disappearing for sterile, characterless condo's. Please save the Roy Vue from destruction! Capitol Hill is losing the diversity that made it so special to begin with and property owner greed will continue to destroy what made the neighborhood worth living in to begin with.

there are already plenty of over priced micro units being built in Seattle, we are rapidly loosing all of our historical housing to developers and even more of our open park like spaces as those developers use every square inch of land of buildings with no parking or green spaces. Leave this wonderful piece of Seattle history alone.
