Please save this building and others like it. They are apart of the beautiful history of Seattle. Don’t let them go just for money!!!

I lived in the RoyVue for three years, and it was the absolute best place to live in Seattle, thanks in large part to its beautiful courtyard, classic building and sense of history. Please save this piece of Seattle history. It is truly unique!

This place was my first real home in Seattle and helped foster a sense of caring, not only amongst my fellow neighbors, but of Capitol Hill and this city at large. Very sad to see it in jeopardy like this.

It is one thing to update a historic building to ensure it stays up to code protecting residents and the integrity of the building itself but to gut it and lose all of that amazing interior architecture is such a loss to our city. Please protect this amazing part of our city's history.

NO to the demolition of such a beautiful and historical building only to build another lifeless buildings with matchbox size units. Save The Roy Vue from greedy development.

Seattle is rapidly losing any beautiful architecture and unfortunately becoming a city built around tech like Detroit was built around the automotive industry. What will be left if/when the tech/housing bubble bursts?

It has saddened me to see the Seattle I grew up in slowly disappear. Please do not change yet another historical building that made Seattle the beautiful city it once was.

We can't destroy all of Seattle's history and green spaces without losing our soul. Microhousing will not stand the test of time. Save this historic building and the important heritage gardens. Destroying 34 human scaled apartments and displacing the people who live in them in favor of "microunits" is not what our community wants or needs.

Enough with the destruction of beautiful historic buildings already.

This would be a terrible mistake. The soul of Capital Hill is only rarely seen today, and this building is one of the biggest examples. It would be a shame to give up decades of heritage for a quick buck.

I am an architect working and living in Capitol Hill. This building adds to the character of the neighborhood and should be protected and kept intact as a historical building.

Preservation and conservation are critical for a sustainable future. We love our Seattle historical landmarks for more than the pop-up explosion of cheap condos.
