Please save the Roy Vue! It's a pillar of the community, and unique and distinguishing landmark.

This is a beautiful building. There are a number of new buildings being built in Capitol Hill. The neighborhood needs to protect the anchors that make it a community, not destroy them to create "microunits."

I’ve spent time in this building and it’s easily one of the most beautiful buildings I’ve ever stepped foot in, it truly breaks my heart hearing this news. We need homes like this to remain

Let Capitol Hill keep it's history! No one fell in love with the neighborhood for it's micro units. Development plans should enrich the lives of residents, not set the precedent for cramped, profit-driven conditions that disregard basic human amenities, like gardens, and oh maybe enough space for a couch. Grant the Roy Vue landmark status!!!

I've lived on Capitol Hill for 18 years. We have to preserve our original architecture with landmark status and deny all new micro unit housing

These apartments are part of the dwindling historic legacy of one of America's beautiful cities. Keeping the facade but altering the interiors in such a drastic way erases beauty, history, and environments people still very much desire in favor of the insatiable, undemocratic concentration of wealth by people who will never use the building themselves.

I really can’t believe the trend of destroying all of the quality places to live in Seattle in favor of “micro units” not suitable for anything more than one single person in their 20s. What about families? What about historical preservation and quality of life? This city will be left with nothing but million dollar condos or completely unlivable micro closets if things like this are allowed to keep happening. How can this city be allowing this?

This building should be protected with Landmark status - this proposal does not create more affordable housing!

Creating more insanely priced housing is not a solution for affordable housing, nor is it a solution to keeping and maintaining a rich culture within Seattle. Keep the Roy Vue as is and make it a landmark!

Replacing these quality apartments and gardens with the micro units is culturally irresponsible, greedy, and should be avoided at all costs.

This is a terrible idea and definitely not a benefit to affordable housing. This beautiful structure and grounds are part of the History if Seattle. This building needs to be protected!

It's a beautiful building and should be protected with landmark status. We're losing some of these 1920s apartment buildings already.

These turn of the century brick and terra cotta buildings define Capitol Hill architecture. We have lost several and more are at risk of being torn down. This is akin to tearing town Victorian townhouses in San Francisco, which would never happen.

Capitol Hill is losing its historic value to a bunch of Amazon lemmings. Keep Capitol Hill great again.
