This is a historic building, neither it or it’s grounds should be gutted and destroyed.

I mean why wouldn’t you save this beautiful building? So that a steril, zero character, inhumanly small, unaffordable box can go there to house the overrunning tech yuppies of the world that will move away as soon as they find the new hot tech industry somewhere else? If you demolish all that remains of what makes Seattle, Seattle then we have no Seattle. Please stop destroying our city. We are begging you to please stop. This is our home because we love it. We don’t love it because the hottest tech of now is here. We love it because it’s Seattle; our home.

This simply is an irreplaceable part of Seattle’s history! This proposed action is completely avoidable.

Is nothing sacred?! This is history. This is beautiful architecture. This is the blood, swear, and tears of craftsmen who are no longer with us. This is their legacy and deserves to be honored.

Please leave the City’s history alone. There’s enough micro units in this city already AND they’re not reasonably price! There’s plenty of other places in Seattle that can be developed

As a resident on this block for many years I can't imagine the loss of beauty and history if these plans go forward. Too often historic brick and wood is replaced by metal boxes and people crammed in to tight to be happy.

Please don’t destroy another beautiful old landmark building. This city is on the edge of having no historical buildings left. New green buildings with lots of housing are great but right now the city needs to look at what’s happening and amend it. If we demolish every old building the city will have no heart it will become a shell.
