The RoyVue is an exquisite historical building. The venture only moves to serve affluent tech workers and destroy beauty.

These apartments are a beautiful part of our city. Tearing them down for “microUnits” is a disgrace!

This is a travesty. The units will be expensive per sq. ft, small . The courtyard needs to be saved. The building should not be gutted to create a tenement. Shame .

What a disgrace it would be to lose all the most beautiful parts of Seattle. This building has been enjoyed for nearly 100 years and in a flash could lose all of its integrity. Density can spare a few gems that give this city more richness and beauty. Do the right thing and save this building.

There are better targets than something so well made. Any number of cheap midcentury war boxes could come down. Let's keep spreading the word on this and save this lovely, livable building.

Micro units are not affordable housing. They are tenements. Stop destroying Seattle brick by brick and actually make housing affordable by controlling rent. Timeless beauty like the RoyVue deserves to be saved, not gutted because you think people who “can’t afford” Seattle should live in tenements.

Is nothing sacred Seattle developers. Is money truly the only thing you value?? And sonce when is $1,100.00 for anything less than 500 square feet affordabe housing??? $1100.00 isn't affordable housing for anyone that doesn't make 80 grand a year!

Micro units are neither affordable or healthy. They should be banned entirely but they should absolutely not replace a livable beautiful landmark.

Don't bite the hand that feeds you, business men! Capitol Hill is a desirable place to move BECAUSE of landmarks like this! You looked at the numbers and saw that people were moving to this neighborhood, and you wanted to capitalize on that. But did you realize the reason people are moving here isn't just the proximity to downtown, it's because Capitol Hill and it's iconic style, buildings, and residents, create a desirable environment. If you take all that culture away, you take away the desirability too.
